A device brand sends a request to Google. They agree to meet Google's rules for work devices.
Google runs a full check on the device. They test if it is safe and works well for business use.
The brand signs a deal with Google. They must send security fixes for at least 3 years.
The device goes live on Google's list. IT teams can now find and buy it with confidence.
